How to Register

Online registration

Check out our program categories—you can click the “Website” link for any of our featured programs to be taken directly to its registration page or browse entire program categories that you are interested in.

Alternatively, you can register directly through the City of Vancouver website at https://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/vancouver/Activity_Search. Select “Enroll Now”. You can browse and search activities without an account, but you need to create an online account before you can register.

Registering by phone

Call our front desk staff at 604-257-8180 (ext. 1). You can register yourself and up to two other people in each course. VISA and Mastercard are accepted over the phone.

Registering in person

Our front desk staff are happy to help you register for programs when you visit the centre in person. You can register yourself and up to two other people in each course. Cash, debit, cheque, VISA and Mastercard are accepted.

Interested in a program? Register early!

Great programs are at risk of being cancelled if everyone waits until the last minute to register! The staff team make decisions on programs two days prior to the start date. If not enough people sign up, the program will either be cancelled or postponed. Don’t be disappointed, register early to reserve your spot!

Disclaimer: NOTE: The nature of the activity is such that you may interact with other people who are considered to be in good health, continuous physical distance between other people cannot be guaranteed, and, by participating in the activity, you are at risk of being infected by a pathogen, including but not limited to SARS-COV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19.

Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices:

  • Participants are required to comply with the current Orders of the Provincial Health Officer. For more information, please cut and paste into your web browser: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/info/restrictions
  • Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.
  • All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.
  • Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending the Facility.
REFUND POLICY

– Refunds requested more than 7 days prior to the start of the program will be paid in full, minus the $5 administration fee. This includes 1 day programs/workshops/court rentals.

– Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to the start of the program, but up to 4 days after the first class, will be charged for the first class plus the $5 administration fee.

– No refund request will be granted if it is received 5 or more days after the first class, unless a doctor’s note is provided.

– No refunds for 1 day programs/workshops/court rentals if given less than 7 days notice.

**Daycamp and weekly specialty camp refund requests must be received at least 7 calendar days prior to the camp start date for refunds to be issued. All refunds are subject to the $5 administration fee per refunded week of camp. No refunds will be granted if the requests is received less than 7 calendar days prior to the camp start date.

MO Youth Room

Drop by and hang out with your friends; there's lots to do! You can play pool, Nintendo Switch, play board games, do arts and crafts, or join in daily games and activities. Closed Tuesdays due to other programs running, check schedule for daily hours. No session Feb 17.

Youth Open Gym

All youth are welcome to drop-in and shoot hoops, bump balls or swing a racquet (space permitting). Bring your own gear or borrow from us with a One Card or Go Card. All youth are required to scan their one card upon arrival. If you don't have one yet, come see the community youth worker [...]

Youth Volleyball

All youth are welcome to drop-in and play some volleyball (space permitting). Bring your own gear or borrow from us in the gym.

Pickleball Court Rental – Jan 2

Each registration is for one court, max 4 players. Players must supply their own paddles and pickleballs.

Seniors’ Social and Games

Join a friendly group for conversation or to play various available games - scrabble, cribbage or cards. Tuesday and/or Thursday 1pm-3pm

Advanced Doubles Badminton

Volunteer badminton supervisors have the right to direct players to an appropriate level of play. Most games are played in doubles on a court rotational basis. Registered participants have 15 minutes to arrive (by 7:15pm) or the spot will be sold to a drop-in participant. No single court games, unless time and/or skill level permits. [...]

Youth Badminton

Iaido – Trial class

Iaido is the traditional Japanese martial art of drawing and cutting with the samurai sword. The purpose of Iaido is to develop awareness, centeredness, sincerity, a calm mind, and mental and physical harmony through the practice of traditional sword techniques. Pre-registration required.
