Basic one day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.Course Content-Preparing to Respond-Check, Call, Care-Airway Emergencies-Breathing & Circulation Emergencies-First Aid for Respiratory & Cardiac Arrest-CPR/AED level C (adults, children, infants)-Small Wound Management-Basic Medical emergency managementThis course is equivalent to Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA Level 1) and is recognized by WorkSafeBCEach participant will receive a First Aid & CPR e-book and an Emergency First Aid summary guide. After successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a 3 year Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED Level C certification from the Canadian Red Cross.
