Personal Information Protection

In the course of providing programs and services, the Marpole-Oakridge Community Association collects personal information of our members and other individuals participating in classes, workshops, projects, events, or renting the facility. This information may be used for communication purposes regarding current or upcoming events, processing payments, statistical or human resource purposes, or for the provision of programs or services.

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be issued for all programs cancelled by the Community Centre.

Refund requests received more than 7 days prior to the start of the program (see Exceptions) will be paid in full, minus the $5.00 administration fee. This includes 1 day programs/workshops

Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to the program start, but more than 3 days before the second class, will be charged for the first class plus an administration fee of $5.00. No refunds for 1 day programs/workshops if given less than 7 days notice.

No refunds will be granted if it is received less than 3 days prior to the second class, unless a doctor’s note is provided.

This policy applies to all music lessons.

Daycamp and weekly specialty camp refund requests must be received at least 7 calendar days prior to the camp start date for refunds to be issued. All refunds are subject to the $5.00 administration fee per refunded week of camp. No refunds will be granted if the request is received less than 7 calendar days prior to the camp start date.

Leisure Access Program

The Vancouver Park Board Leisure Access Program is for Vancouver Residents who face financial barriers. Marpole-Oakridge Community Association allows a 50% discount on most centre programs.
